Chegou finamente...

...à minha caixa de correio, e às lojas em Londres.

Este post já tem dois dias de atraso! Que bom que é ter o livro finalmente na mão. Estou a adorar lê-lo, apesar de ser em Inglês e de me falhar algum vocabulário, sinto-me sem dúvida a "embarcar" nestas aventuras e sonhos de uma família de 3.

A Alice ensina alguma lições... coisas de que já me tinha esquecido, acerca de mim....

Ser mãe muda-nos sem dúvida, aprende-se e cresce-se muito... Mas isso não pode implicar a desistência de sonhos e de continuar a sermos nós proprias... É importante não nos esquecer-mos de nós, por nós e por "eles". Sou mais que mãe, sou a Joana. A Joana tem sonhos, não cumpridos ainda. Quero partilha-los com ele.

O bichinho renasce e começa a crescer. Os planos para uma viagem (há muito pensada e adiada) começa a tomar forma e a tornar-se real. Os nossos olhos e dedos começam a percorrer os mapas. Será na próxima Primavera...

This post is already two days late! How nice it is to have the book finally in my hands. I am loving to read it. Despite being in English and some vocabulary fails me, I am without a doubt "on board" in these adventures and dreams of this family of 3.

Alice teaches some lessons ... things that I had already forgotten about me ....

There`s no doubt that being a mother changes us, we learn and grow very much... But this can not imply that we give up of our dreams and still being ourselfs... It is important that we dont forget about us, for us and for "them" (our children). I am more than mother, I'm Joana. Joana has dreams, not accomplished yet. I want to share them with him.

The "dream seed" is reborn and begins to grow. Plans for a trip (long ago thought and delayed) begins to take shape and become real. Our eyes and fingers begin to move through the maps. It will be in the next Spring...
